Week 13

Well I can say I am happy to be out of my first trimester! The first was absolute HELL. I was sick every day, and some days I would be sick all day. So it was quite a celebration to make it though a whole day of Disneyland without puking! And let's face it Disneyland is horribly romantic at this time of year. Jordan and I had a really great time. It was nice to get away for a day and the weather was perfect. We had the most perfect day.

Now we are home and back to the grind of things! One day I'll start posting baby bump picture....but I need a baby bump before I can start doing that :) Next week will be super crazy! It will be hard to recap!

Baby On The Way

Well blog world, I figure now is a good time to continue on in my blogging ventures. Why? Because I am pregnant. I love the idea of writing down my thoughts throughout the process and quite frankly I hate writing so the whole private journal thing is out. So here we go!

I found out I was pregnant on October 9th 2010. Which also happens to be the day after my birthday! It was an incredible shock and a ton of emotions. Mostly I feel like WHAT THE HECK??? I'M GOING TO BE A MOM??? Its just all so weird.

I got to see my baby for the first time yesterday and the joy Jordan and I felt just can't be matched. It was so nice to see "it" knowing that little baby Barker is safe and healthy inside me. It was so surreal to see the baby moving so much and not be able to feel it! I know that won't last for too long. I'm 12 weeks and Due June 14th, I've LOST weight, which seems weird, but when you throw up every morning it seems to make sense. There is no way you can tell I'm pregnant just by looking at me which kinda makes me sad. I just want a little baby bump already!!

I am so excited for the Christmas season. I got a few decorations up. I put up a tree in our bedroom that has all my childhood ornaments on it. Its fun to see it lit up, remembering all the Christmases I've had with those little guys. I'm so ready to have Christmas with Jordan. Our first Christmas married, our last Christmas just the two of us. Its a crazy time and I feel like I'll be holding on to EVERY single memory. Soaking in EVERY moment because I don't want to take for granted the little time we have left before this little floater arrives.

No Parking.

This picture is so my life right now. No parking. It should even say
no stopping haha. Everything has become a continuous blur with some
sleep in between the blurs. School has been so crazy and it's only the
second week!

But on a fun note you are looking at the blog of the new Hingepoint
Intern! I'm so excited to be a part of the staff now learning under
Chris with the childrens ministry. Every week is going to be
incredibly crazy with this. But nevertheless I'm so excited. I'm an
intern! I feel like Lauren Conrad on her first day at teen vogue! :)

Math time

Well school has started and I've been waking up during the 6 o'clock
hour which is rediculous! My classes are good. Difficult. But good.
I'm most excited for my United States history!

There are some pretty exciting things about to happen in my life! And
I can't wait to share them with you. My whole 4 followers :) haha

Premier designs

Today my mom had a premier designs party. Some of the jewelry is just
so not me. But it was great to have some time with Katie, my BFF. I'm
reminded today that God is still God no matter what. NO MATTER WHAT.
I've been going through so much lately and some days I feel like I
cant tread anymore. These past couple of days I've been reading in
exodus and God is like "kristen, I delivered my people from Egypt! Why
won't you to trust me to deliver you from..." it's funny how we are
still so much like the israelites! God delivered us! He brought us out
of "Egypt" and yet we complain!

I'm Just trying so hard to remember that God has delivered me from
"egypt" and he WILL bring me to the promised land.

Hubby's bday!

Yesterday was Jordan's birthday! Happy 24th babe! We had a great day!
I woke up early to make breakfast which is pretty funny because we
NEVER eat breakfast so after a few bites we were stuffed. Then it was
off to work!

After work we went to dinner with Jordan's parents, sister, brother-in-
law, brother, and all our neices and nephews. It was an eventful
dinner. The youngest Gracie kept making concoctions out of sweet n low
and various vegtables and lip gloss on top of bread and kept giving
them to Jordan as his birthday cake insisting he try it! Jakey kept
telling us yo momma jokes. Joey chimed in and Jordan said "Joey you
know my momma is Nana right?" Joey's reaction was priceless! And the
crowning jewel was discovering Joey can lick his armpit! Haha

We finised the night over at the jesse's residence for cupcakes and a
few rounds of mafia. So blessed by my new family! Love you guys!

Crazy life

Last weeks theme was technology. I got a whole one picture I believe
and I'm a little embarassed to post it. This week will be better the
theme is anything goes. I got a new lense for hipstamatic an here's
me! This week will be crazy. Jordans birthday is tomorrow and I have a
million and a half things to do before I'm ready for vacation...well
the cupcakes are done so on to decorating!
